Application Crunch is a game about getting into college, targeted at underserved high school students. The college admissions process is like a game, but it's a game that most people only get one chance to play. Application Crunch is designed as a fun way to give students a little bit of practice playing the college admissions game.
I have been a part of the design team that created and published the Application Crunch card game, which has been distributed to hunderds of schools across the country, as well as the team that is designing a Facebook version of the game that will allow everyone to play.
In 2011, the project was awarded a grant to fund continued development of college access games. This effort has been named Collegeology Games.
Please visit the official Collegeology Games website at collegeology.usc.edu for more information about Application Crunch and other projects.
